anniversary of the LUDWIG CHARTS
5 December 2024It's done! The top 10 of the WALTER MOERS exhibition has been decided!
And… we are celebrating another anniversary: the 20th season of the LUDWIG CHARTS!
Children from the all-day class at Falkenstein School have selected.
They crowned their works of art in the LUDWIGGALERIE.
On Friday it's that time again: friends, family and siblings come.
They can look and be amazed, ask questions and get involved in the museum workshop. The participating children (peer teamers) have prepared well.
They explored the LUDWIGGALERIE and discussed among themselves which works they liked best. In the end, the group agreed on a joint selection of their TOP 10.
“Who would have thought when the project started 11 years ago that we would now be 20 times
10 great works of art than the LUDWIG CHARTS can show," says Ursula Bendorf-Depenbrock, museum educator and one of the project managers. "We are proud and happy that we have been able to give so many young people the chance to explore the LUDWIGGALERIE over the years. The kids have rediscovered art for themselves and replaced prejudices against museums - such as boredom and pressure - with curiosity and joy," adds Sabine Falkenbach.
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research and Education as part of the “Culture Makes You Strong – Alliances for Education” programme.
