FROM HERE 2026

The Oberhausen Artists' Association is exhibiting

February 8 – May 31, 2026

With over 70 applications, interest in participating in 2026 was exceptionally high. The jury has selected 48 artists who will now present their work starting in February.

 

The exhibition showcases a wide spectrum of creative work: painting, drawing, photography, (video) installations, sculptures, object works, and assemblages. The 29 female and 19 male artists are predominantly from Oberhausen, but neighboring cities are also represented.

 

The title FROM HERE 2026 This already demonstrates the artistic connection to the region. In fact, numerous works specifically address the "Ruhr area." All the works were created within the last two years; this was a requirement for the application. During the exhibition, the artists are offering a comprehensive program—including inclusive activities—with guided tours, workshops, and more.
