We celebrate our anniversary – 10 years of the Friends of the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen

It is hard to believe – but for a decade now
The Friends of the LUDWIGGALERIE is a partner of the museum and
is generously supportive and helpful behind the scenes.

 

 

A lot has happened during this time: numerous purchases,
Publications, museum educational projects, valuable restorations and
Frames have been realized through the commitment of the Friends' Circle. The

The
Idea to establish a circle of friends of the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen
was born on a warm summer evening in the company of like-minded people. “All

The association’s statutes are drawn up together – it is

Today, thanks to the association’s commitment, numerous works have been selected for exhibitions
such as “The Gesture”, “British Pop Art”, “Linda McCartney” or “Art about Shoes”
and many others were acquired and found their way into the urban
collection. The restoration of older works in our own collection is also
to a considerable extent on the tireless efforts of the circle of friends
